Is Aikui free to play?
Yes. The Gentle and Easy difficulties, the colorblind-safe palette, and Pattern Mode are free for everyone, with no ads. The one-time Aikui Pro purchase unlocks Medium and Hard, the Daily Puzzle, leaderboards, premium palettes, and board styles.
Is there a subscription?
No. Aikui Pro is a single one-time purchase. Buy it once and you own it. There are no recurring charges of any kind, and Family Sharing is supported.
Do I need an internet connection or an account?
No. A bundled bank of 10,000 puzzles plays fully offline, and you never need to create an account. Even the Daily Puzzle is generated on your device, so it works offline too. A connection is only used to submit Game Center leaderboard scores and to keep your progress in sync with iCloud.
How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
Open Aikui, go to Settings, and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy Aikui Pro. If you use Family Sharing, the family organizer's purchase will restore for family members the same way. If a restore does not work, email us and we will help.
I bought Aikui Pro but it is not showing up
First, confirm you are signed in with the correct Apple Account, then use Settings, Restore Purchases. Purchases are tied to the Apple Account that made them. If it still does not appear, contact support@didstopia.com with the date of purchase and we will sort it out.
How do I get a refund?
All purchases and refunds are handled by Apple, not by us, so we are unable to issue refunds directly. To request one, visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple Account, find Aikui in your purchase history, and request a refund. If something went wrong, tell us too and we will do our best to make it right.
What is Pattern Mode?
Pattern Mode is a free toggle that overlays a unique shape on each color, so the board stays readable even when color alone is hard to tell apart. It is part of our commitment that accessibility is never behind the paywall.
How do the Daily Puzzle and streaks work?
Everyone gets the same Daily Puzzle each day. Solve it to keep your streak going. The Daily Puzzle and Game Center leaderboards are part of Aikui Pro, and leaderboards are ranked on depth such as mastery and clean solves, never on speed.
How does iCloud sync work?
iCloud sync is free and works automatically: when you are signed into iCloud, your progress and statistics stay in step across your devices through your own private iCloud account. There is nothing to switch on. If you ever want to turn it off for Aikui, open iOS Settings, tap your name, tap iCloud, and turn Aikui off. Your synced data lives in your private iCloud and is never visible to us.

Accessibility
Aikui was built accessibility-first. The default palette is colorblind-safe, Pattern Mode adds a shape to every color for free, and the app supports VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, Differentiate Without Color, and Reduce Motion. Read more on our accessibility page.
